On Earth Day this year, Bray Retail Park would like to declare our strong commitment to implementing sustainability initiatives in our journey to reduce our carbon footprint and lessen the impact on the environment.
We have put in place initiatives across the retail park that include:
· Our car park lights all use energy-efficiency LED lighting thereby reducing energy usage, this energy is also 100% green renewable energy.
· Bray Retail Park is a proud member of the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan and it is also a home to an insect hotel.
· We mow the grass on the lands around the park less often which allows more time for bees to feed off the native flowers.
· Our landscape team only uses green, eco-friendly products in the retail park which benefit bees and other insects.
· All our retailers segregate their waste, thereby reducing what goes to landfills.
· Electric vehicle charging points will be introduced later this year for our customers.
